ASAP Rocky…
So I heard about this album a few days after it came out. Kinda brushed it off as a maybe I will download. I have downloaded countless albums online from people trying to be up and coming only to not get into them. Last time I felt something was going to be big, and was right, was Odd Future. Funny enough ASAP Rocky has the same sound and similar dark heavy and slow beats, but the lyrics mimic Texas style with the whole lean and chopped and screwed feel. Oh, and these guys are from Harlem, which you wouldn’t guess from the sound. I feel if I looked up ASAP Rocky and OFWGKTA in the same sentance some kind of beef story would come up since the sound is alike. I don’t really care since I enjoy both but Rocky is almost better. But where I feel ASAP outshines OF is all the songs aren’t the carefree don’t give a fuck, rape, rape, rape shit. They rap about the lifestyle they live and the Harlem culture. Once again I am thinking these guys could be big…
